Hello again, friends! Welcome back! Today I’m thrilled to be participating in Betsy’s Christmas blog tour. Check out Rebekah’s post here about a DIY Christmas tree of books (so cool!) and Corrie’s post here about planning Christmas gifts (love your tips, Corrie!)

And now, for my post! I’ve created a list of seven fun, useful gifts for writers. So, whether you’re a writer and want some ideas for your Christmas list, or you know a writer and need some gift ideas, hopefully this sparks some inspiration!
T-shirt
A t-shirt is a great gift idea. There are so many different designs and colors you can pick from. The Young Writer Shop has a wide variety of shirts, from genre-specific shirts to ones that could be for writers of any genre.
Notebooks
If you’re ever unsure of what to get a writer friend, why not get a notebook or journal? They’re always great for jotting down ideas or starting that outline. Notebooks come in all shapes and sizes, literally. Find one that has a favorite thing on it, or go by color.
Grammarly Premium
Grammar and clarity can be hard to get right sometimes. Grammarly Premium not only checks both, it also offers suggestions for word choice, fluency, and tone. The site also looks for any hints of plagiarism.
Scrivener
Scrivener is a writing app that allows you to write, outline, take notes. . . almost everything related to your project! It keeps all your ideas in one place, keep them organized as you write. It “simply provides everything you need to start writing and keep writing.”
Writing Craft Books
Reading is a good way to learn more about writing and discover how to improve. There are so many writing craft books out there. Save the Cat! Writes a Novel by Jessica Brody is a staple for any writer’s bookshelf, as is Structuring Your Novel by K.M. Weiland. Look around for one that would benefit the writer you know.
Laptop Sleeves/Bags
Most writers I know have a laptop, whether their own or their family’s. A laptop case is a good thing to have to protect the device from damage. There are so many to choose from, depending on what the person needs. A simple sleeve might do the trick, or a bag with multiple storage pockets might be just what they want.
Stickers
To add to the last idea, stickers for a writer’s laptop, journal, or water bottle is a fun gift! You could find assortments of stickers based on their favorite things, or you could stick with the writing theme and go with stickers like these.
I hope everyone is having a blessed Christmas season! Be sure to hop over to Betsy’s blog tomorrow to read her post about making Christmas cookies. It’s going to be a good one!

I love this! As a writer, I would be glad to receive any of these gifts. This gave me a lot of ideas for some of my writer friends, so thanks!! 😊

Awe! Thanks!
I love these! I’m not a big writer but I do dabble in the art occasionally. I think these ideas would work for lots of people! I like the laptop sleeve thing, I was so glad when I got mine. It was an old one someone gave us, but I love it!
