A Celebration!

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Today’s post is an exciting one. I recently reached 50 subscribers!! Thank you so much everyone for your support! I started this blog back in December, and it has been such a fun journey.

As a celebration of this milestone, I planned something special: a short story contest!

I’ll go through the rules first, then the prompts, and lastly, the prizes.

THE RULES

  • 12 pt. Times New Roman font; normal margins and formatting
  • 1,500 word limit
  • One submission per person
  • Your entry must be a new story: Do not submit something you’ve already written
  • No swearing, magic, or demonic things, please.
  •  You may submit romance, but everything must be appropriate for a 12-year-old to read
  • Keep violence to a minimum
  • You may have any alpha/beta readers, teachers, parents, friends, etc. read your story before submitting. However, no editing may be done after submission.
  • Have Fun! If you find yourself stressing about it, don’t worry! There’s no pressure at all to enter.

Entries must be submitted by July 31 via the Contact form. When entering, do not use any identifying names or emails. I want this to be as unbiased as possible, so also refrain from telling me if you enter. Thank you!
